  Details: The race takes place on a Sunday morning in mid-March. It starts near the Colosseum on Via dei Fori Imperiali before heading around the Circus Maximus, down Via Ostiense to the Basilica of St. Paul, the over the Tiber and North past Trastevere and the Vatican, back across the river at Villa Ada, south to Piazza Navona, north to Piazza del Popolo, then back south round Campidoglio and along the side of the Circus Maximus before returning to the Colosseum.

  Details: Etna Sky Marathon takes place in a location which has scenery which is difficult to find elsewhere in the world, on the slopes of a volcano where we can find recent lava flows where no living creatures have yet settled, as well as older lava flows where clusters of larches, beaches and birches are growing. Mt Etna frequently erupts: during the last 30 years, at least one eruption every has been reported every three years. These eruptions have lasted from 5 days to more than a year. The race starts off at Piano Vetore, located near the “Grande Albergo dell’Etna” (Nicolosi – Etna South 1720 mt.) at 8 am. The marathon will then run along the mountain track known as the Pista Altomontana until Piano Provenzana, on the Northern slopes of Etna.

  Details: 42,195 Km race from Caltagirone to Marina di Acate in Gela Gulf, to remember the cruel “battle of Sicliy” in the “2° World War D-Day”. July 10th 1943, was the D-Day of “Husky Operation”. Allied Forces landed in Sicily, to begin the Liberation of “Fortress Europe”.
This marathon will give Honours to all the person who died during the bloody battle, to do the same path by running, made by Italian and German Troops, 68 Years ago to reach the famous beach of historical debarquement, to fight, and there in the “Finish line” (close the sea), after the marathon will be the Ceremony to remember “Peace for ever and everywhere”.
