| Details: The race takes place on a Sunday morning in mid-March. It starts near the Colosseum on Via dei Fori Imperiali before heading around the Circus Maximus, down Via Ostiense to the Basilica of St. Paul, the over the Tiber and North past Trastevere and the Vatican, back across the river at Villa Ada, south to Piazza Navona, north to Piazza del Popolo, then back south round Campidoglio and along the side of the Circus Maximus before returning to the Colosseum. |
