| Details: Take in the spectacular views which Auckland has to offer while running across the iconic Auckland Harbor Bridge in the Marathon and Half Marathon events. There are also a range of shorter distances to choose from, including the Quarter Marathon, 5km Run and Walk and KIDS MARATHON events, allowing participants of all ages and abilities to be part of the adidas Auckland Marathon. Run through the finish gantry in the heart of Auckland City, with thousands of cheering supporters, and enjoy the 'Picnic in the Park' post event at Victoria Park with live music and entertainment on stage to celebrate your day of achievements in Auckland, New Zealand. | |

| Details: The Marathon or 42.2 km leaves Udy Road outside the Petone Workingmens Club and picks up the Hutt River trail. The courses will change slightly from last year in that it will go right at Sladdeen Park to the Estuary Bridge, cross to the East side of the river and then go up to Moonshine turn and come back the same way. This way we miss the busy Melling Bridge and Block Road. The running surface is good, as competitors run off road following the winding river. | |
